To make a gift of stock, please follow these three steps:
- In order to obtain GAP’s account number and ensure that your gift is properly processed, please contact GAP to let us know that you are planning to make a transaction and to inform us of any program restrictions you may have. Please call GAP at (202) 457-0034, or email Elizabeth Lamb at lizl@whistleblower.org or Waheeda Ghani at waheedag@whistleblower.org.
- Instruct your broker to include your full name and address in the transaction description. Please note that if this step is not taken, GAP will not know who made the gift and will not be able to thank you for your contribution.
- GAP has a RBC Dain Rauscher broker and a Charles Schwab Account.
To make a gift through our RBC Dain Rauscher Broker:
- Route the stock to the Government Accountability Project, Inc. Make sure to include both the account number and the DTC number (both of which can be obtained by contacting GAP).
- Please contact GAP’s broker, Curtis McKay, if you have any additional questions. His phone number is 202-408-4505 and his address is 1900 K St, NW, 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20006.
