Education & Resources

Since 1977, GAP has been on the frontlines supporting some of the most important whistleblowers in history. We fulfill our mission of promoting government and corporate accountability by protecting and empowering whistleblowers—brave truth-tellers who disclose evidence that they reasonably believe shows violations of laws, rules, and regulations; gross mismanagement; gross waste of funds; abuse of authority; or substantial and specific threats to public health and safety.

With more than 40 years of experience, GAP is committed to educating the public about whistleblowing. We have assisted more than 8,000 whistleblowers and have helped develop many federal whistleblower protection laws. We actively seek to share our expertise about whistleblowing in order to raise awareness about the critical role whistleblowers play in promoting legal compliance and protecting both the public interest and democracy.

Employees, NGOs, corporate and government leaders, journalists, students, faculty and citizens can find in these pages a wide range of resources about whistleblowing, with new resources added regularly.
