WASHINGTON, DC – The Government Accountability Project and the Society of Professional Journalists invite you to a training that will offer journalists and members of the general public insights from legal professionals on how to work effectively and safely with whistleblowers who report on serious violations of public trust within government and the private sector.

  • The Legal Landscape: The Complicated Patchwork of Whistleblower Protection Laws
  • Working with Whistleblowers
    • The Primacy of Trust
    • Unique Challenges of Working with Whistleblowers
  • Practical Pointers
    • Locating Whistleblowers
    • Preserving Anonymity
    • FOIA work based on whistleblowers
