Sarah Borron

In her capacity as Senior Program Officer, Sarah represents GAP's Food Integrity Campaign before Congress, federal agencies, and various stakeholders. She researches and advocates on legislative and regulatory issues related to food integrity, creates content such as op-eds and educational materials, and assists in whistleblower investigations. She works with an array of food integrity, worker justice, and whistleblower coalitions to advance policy goals.

Sarah graduated from the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy with an M.S. in Agriculture, Food, and the Environment and Denison University with a B.A. in Environmental Studies.

She joins FIC with seven years’ experience as a public interest researcher covering the negative environmental and health effects of industrial food animal agriculture as well as experience in advocacy, program development, and management in anti-hunger and community food systems non-profit organizations.

Sarah lives in the DC metro area, where she enjoys exploring local green space and farmers markets with her family. She also creates modern quilts as a hobby.
